Zone Forecast for Daytona Beach, FL
About the area
Most people know Daytona Beach as "the worlds most famous beach", the home of NASCAR, or the home of Bike Week. Some may even know Ormond Beach as the birthplace of speed. Daytona Beach is all of those things and so much more.

As a vacation spot, the Daytona Beach area provides an affordable destination with an unparalleled diversity of activities within a short driving distance from its wonderful beaches. Stay here and enjoy the ocean. During the summer, take in a free concert at the Bandshell every friday and Saturday with fireworks on Saturday though Labor Day. KIds will love the local water park and amusement rides. Adults will enjoy the many fantastic restaurants or local nightclubs. Get away from the beach and visit The Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Halifax Historical Museum, or The Casements - former summer home of John D. Rockefeller. Visit the historic light house in Ponce Inlet or go deep sea fishing. Did we say fishing? The Daytona Beach area has plenty to offer. Fish from the river, the shore, a pier, the inlet or boat. Go for a drive on the scenic Loop. Visit a fresh water spring. Drive up the coast to Historic St Augustine, down to the space coast to visit the Kennedy Space Center or west to Orlando. Love sports? Take in a Daytona Cubs baseball game or play some golf at LPGA International or one of many other fine courses. There's so much to do, you will want to come back again and again just to take it all in.

Thinking of moving here? We'd love to have you join us. This is a great place to live. We have fantastic year round weather, great schools including three colleges, a low cost of living, plenty of things to do, and lest we forget, an amazing beach.

So please, use our website to explore the area and we're sure you will agree. This is the world's most famous beach, and much, much more.
